Start of Academic Programmes:
There are two intakes per year for most Bachelor and Masters Programmes, one intake is at the beginning of February and one in September.
Length of courses:
Full-time Bachelor programmes: mostly 3 years, but a few programmes have a mandatory year abroad or a mandatory work placement year.
Full-time Masters programmes: usually one full calendar year (12 months)
Requirements for German Applicants for our Bachelor Programmes:
We would expect applicants to have good grades in their Abitur, no lower than an aggregate mark of at least 3 (Befriedigend) or above. We also accept the International Baccalaureate and the European Baccalaureate.
In terms of English language requirements we would expect applicants to have grades of "1" or "2" in English in their Abitur or equivalent. Applicants with lower marks in English will have to demonstrate their English language competency by taking one of the following English exams:
- TOEFL: 550 with 4.0 in test of written English, or 213 in computer based test,
- IELTS: 5.5 overall with a minimum score of 5.0 in each component
- Cambridge Advanced Certificate
- Cambridge Proficiency Certificate
Requirements for German Applicants for our Master programmes:
We would expect candidates to have one of the following qualifications:
- Diplom (University or Fachhochschule)
- Magister Artium
- Staatsexamen
- Bachelor
Please note that applicants for MBA programmes will also need to have 2 years work experience.
In terms of English language requirements we would expect one of the following English exams:
- TOEFL: 580 or 237 in computer based test
- IELTS: 6.0
- Cambridge Proficiency Certificate
