In contrast to many other magazines for young people, all EINSTIEG GmbH magazines - including EINSTIEG Abi magazine, EINSTIEG Abi fair catalogues, EINSTIEG and Berufe live Rheinland fair magazine – specifically focus on the target group of students in (pre) final year classes and, from an editorial point of view, concentrate exclusively on subjects relating to vocational training and studying. The advertisements placed in these magazines, which likewise deal purely with training and studying opportunities or vocational orientation methods and assistance, round off the editorial offer. Due to the fact that it is free of product and brand advertising, the magazine is widely accepted at schools. Magazines are dispatched free of charge and in individually ordered quantities to teachers, principles and school administrations. As such, the magazines are anticipated and fall directly into the right hands.
With an advertisement in the EINSTIEG Abi magazine, which, on average, is read by 3.5 students (according to a reader survey in 2006), you will reach around 560,000 readers. The circulation of 160,000 is distributed as follows: - Approximately 150,000 copies appear throughout the country in classes 11-13 of schools offering university entrance diplomas (Abitur) and careers information offices at employment agencies.
- Around 3,500 copies are distributed at the EINSTIEG Abi fairs and sent to subscribers and those submitting individual orders.
- 1,500 copies are sent to senior year students at over 70 German schools abroad.
- 5,000 magazines are available throughout the country in railway station and airport bookshops; hence, in addition to students, the magazines also reach parents and teachers, who play an important part in training consultation.

EINSTIEG Abi is dispatched throughout the country free of charge and by order, to around 3,700 schools offering university entrance diplomas and careers information offices at employment agencies. Each collective order is forwarded, free of charge, to the future secondary school graduates. Furthermore, the respective current issue of the magazine is placed at and distributed during the EINSTIEG Abi fairs.
From the first 2007 issue onwards, there are three new methods of distributing EINSTIEG Abi magazine: - EINSTIEG Abi magazine is sent free of charge to the senior classes of more than 70 German schools abroad. Individual copies can be purchased in German railway station and airport bookshops for €2.90 per copy, incl. statutory VAT.
- The magazine can also be ordered from EINSTIEG GmbH via the Internet at www.einstieg.com/schueler/magazin/bestellung/privatpersonen/ or by post (delivery will include a flat rate delivery cost).
- It is also possible to subscribe to the magazine – subscriptions can be ordered from EINSTIEG at the above link or by post.

Your advertisement will appear in one of the three opportunities sections (advertising pages) which, in turn, are directly integrated into and follow on from the Company News, Campus News and School News editorials: corporate training and study opportunities can be found under Company opportunities; courses of study and general institute of higher education advertisements under Campus opportunities; and schooling opportunities under School opportunities.
EINSTIEG Abi magazine is published four times a year, each approximately six weeks prior to the EINSTIEG Abi fairs in Cologne, Karlsruhe, Berlin and Munich. In each respective year: issue 1, the EINSTIEG Abi Cologne fair edition appears in January, issue 2, "School is out" and EINSTIEG Abi Karlsruhe fair edition appears in March/April, and issue 3, the EINSTIEG Abi Berlin and Munich fairs' edition appears in August/September.
We invite students from every type of school throughout northern Germany to the EINSTIEG fair in Hamburg. The target group is therefore different than that of EINSTIEG Abi fairs and for EINSTIEG Abi magazine. Over and above the direct addressing of schools and teachers, EINSTIEG fair catalogue is the main marketing instrument for this event. In addition to themes in preparation for the fair, such as the exhibitor list, accompanying programme and hall plan, the magazine also includes editorials on career and study options, which are of great interest to 1st and 2nd secondary year students. Consequently the magazine is a combination of an educational journal and fair guide.
EINSTIEG fair magazine is distributed in three stages on three dates:
1. Four weeks prior to the start of the fair, EINSTIEG fair magazine is placed free of charge in branches of the Hamburger Sparkasse bank. Therefore, it reaches students as well as "multiplicators" such as parents and teachers, who can also give the magazine to students.
2. Two weeks prior to the start of the fair, EINSTIEG fair magazine is sent to schools in northern Germany, in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, Bremen and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Delivery is according to orders from careers teachers, principles etc. in individually required numbers and is also free of charge.
3. On both fair days, EINSTIEG fair magazine is also placed at various points around the EINSTIEG fair, such as the entrance, EINSTIEG fair stand etc.
Four weeks prior to the EINSTIEG fair in Hamburg, the fair magazine initially appears in Hamburger Sparkasse branches, with schools in Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Bremen, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein receiving the magazine 14 days later. In addition, the publication is distributed to all visitors during the two days of the fair and is placed at various points, such as the EINSTIEG fair stand and in the studying corners.
Naturally, you can also place an advertisement in EINSTIEG fair magazine, even though you are not an exhibitor at the EINSTIEG fair in Hamburg. The only important point being that the advertisement relates to training or an institute of higher education. Please order the media data for all information regarding the placing of an advertisement by email.
