EINSTIEG Abi Fair
The graduate students’ fair EINSTIEG Abi has been successfully providing graduate students with information on vocational training and study opportunities after graduation. In addition to the exhibitors’ information and orientation offers, an extensive programme is offered which introduces to jobs that require vocational training, courses of study, and employment life in speeches, discussions, and presentations.
Visiting the EINSTIEG Abi helps adolescents to selectively gather information on training requiring jobs and courses of study. You can test in how far your own expectations and wishes correspond with the individual requirements and perspectives and which chances you can be offered. Attending the fair can take a decisive part in avoiding failures in the transition from school to college, university, or vocational training. This is eminently important for colleges and universities as providers of education.

EINSTIEG Abi Career Day
At the EINSTIEG Abi Career Day, exhibitors and participants can get into close contact in intensive conversations. Therefore the exhibitors are only presented with participants who are specially suited for the apprenticeship and study opportunities: They are performing well in school, are engaged in extra-curricular activities, and they have reached results higher-than-average in the tested soft skills. In order to guarantee this, all participants of the EINSTIEG Career Day have to pass through an online application procedure.
From application to the start of the EINSTIEG Abi Career Day, the adolescents are informed regularly: They receive comprehensive information on the exhibitors’ training and study offers and first advice concerning the preparation of interviews and self-presentation. Thus the visitors will approach the exhibitors’ stands well-informed and prepared. Being a recruiting event, the EINSTIEG Abi Career Day is an efficient instrument of recruitment for both companies and schools.

EINSTIEG Hamburg
Already in February of 2003, the EINSTIEG takes place at the Hamburg Fair. The huge success of the fair is owed to the broad support from all relevant institutions of study and career choice in the Hanseatic city. The Hamburger Sparkasse supportes the fair as initiator, among other things through intensive visitor advertising.
The fair is attended by more than 35,000 adolescents of all school types of general education who wish to gather information on education, jobs, training companies, and colleges and universities in Northern Germany and the Federal Republic. Because of a targeted pre-publishing of the fair magazine in the subsidiaries of the Hamburger Sparkasse and the direct despatch to the schools in Hamburg and the region, the students come to the fair well-prepared. A registration service for schools abets motivated groups of visitors and guarantees that the fair attendance is equally distributed over the day. Thus the exhibitors benefit well from well-prepared and motivated visitors who wish to selectively gather information about the next step after school.
