FAQ for Exhibitors

Answers

1. How much does participation in the fair cost?

The cost of participation in the fair depends on the size of the stand and the equipment rented. Exhibitors have the option of either renting an empty space or a base stand. An empty space means just the bare ground of the exhibition hall. Please note that this includes no walls, no carpet, furniture etc. This option is for exhibitors who have their own stand. The base stand has walls, a roof construction as well as a headboard including lettering and is suitable for exhibitors who do not have their own stand. With both stand options, the exhibitor has the option of ordering additional equipment or furniture such as carpets, electricity etc. Please request our booking forms for more information.

2. Does the entry in the exhibitors index cost money?

The address entry in both the printed exhibitor index as well as at EINSTIEG Abi Online (incl. a link to the exhibitors website) is included in the registration price.

3. May I choose the position of my stand?

So that exhibitors have a flexible choice in the stand format and size, EINSTIEG has no standard stand plan for each fair. Exhibitors may choose a stand in one of the following area: "General" (general information institutions and associations), "Companies" (companies who offer vocational training), "Third Level Institutions" (public and private German institutions), "Schools" (educational institutions) and "International" (international third level institutions, language schools and language travel organisers). After registration deadline, the hall plan is thematically laid out according to category. To ease the orientation of the visitors, the different parts of the hall are marked with different colours.

4. What is included in a base stand?

A base stand consists of the following equipment: back and side walls (in a choice of white, red, blue or beech), a ceiling and a headboard including 20 characters (in a choice of blue, red or black). Exhibitors have the option to order additional items such as carpet, electricity etc. Base stands are available in the sizes 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24 and 30 m2 - other sizes available on request. The height of the stand including the headboard is 2.5 m. The headboard is 0.30 m high. Please request more detailed documentation here.

5. What is the online exhibitor service?

After successful completion of registration, the exhibitors receive personal access rights for the online exhibitor service. In this secure online area, exhibitors may enter their placements and classifications as well as their contact details. These details make up the base of what is published in the online exhibitor indices. The exhibitor may enter internships and vocational course placements, so that these may be published in the vocational training market at the EINSTIEG stand at the fair. Also available to download is: the service folder. This consists of all information to participating in the fair such as order forms for further services (e.g. internet connection, parking permits and security).

6. At a fair with up to 300 exhibitors, will my stand still be noticeable?

At a fair with up to 300 exhibitors like EINSTIEG Abi in Cologne with up to 300 exhibitors, it is especially important to ease the visitors’ orientation, so that questions and offers are complemented. In order to ease the visitors orientation, it is important that exhibitors, 1. chose the right category ("General", "Companies"…) as well as 2. exactly classify their offer with the help of the online exhibitor service. In this way, the exhibitors contribute to the success of such a big fair.

Booking forms are available in the service folder, which is available to download in the online exhibitor service. In addition to this, public institutions or associations often take part in the programme gratis upon the invitation of the organisers.
